One Of the Topics in Organization Management Training (OMT) 2013

March of 10^th 2013 is the program of the argUMent that Organization Management Training, held at Hall of A building of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Mataram University. This program is directed for all agUMenters that have a will to improve their knowledge about Organization Management. It’s not only gives some explains about organization management but also share many experiences as a motivation to the entire participant (argUMenters). There are three topics of OMT (Organization Management Training), SWOT Analysis, Leadership, and Administration. In this time, we will discuss about “Leadership”, the topic has been described by Mr. Sony Ariawan. Discussion about leadership was very amazing, because Mr. Sony was so excited when he explained us about the topic. Besides that, the topic also filled with some of interesting games that made the participant (argUMenters) didn’t get bored with the material delivered through the day until noon, and like the theme in this program “Your first step in the leadership way”, the topic of leadership as a step to be a real leader in our life.

The topic of Leadership was explained with more detail in variety of characteristics to create the true leader. A leader Must Focus on what he/she wants, not on something he/she didn’t want, so it could be said a leader whowas successful in leadership and loved bythe Followers if the Leader have done the job perfectly, move and think fast to reach the target or we can say, a Good Leadership are Leader by heart and leader by God.

The attraction of leader, consist of the Outside and Inside capacity. First, outside capacity, characteristic of a leader is Neat, Friendly, Courteous, Brave (look like). Then, inside capacity are Keep IMAN and Worship, Knowledge, Wisdom, Mental/self-belief. Being a leader is not only for men but also for women. A leader must have good moral and strong religious and good mental as the basis of true leader (“Leader by Heart, Leader by God”). A leader has to move and think fast to decide something without wasting much time when he/she received an offer or an opportunity.

According to the argUMent, a leader must have 3 characters called “3B” ; Be patient, Be happy, Be a Family. From the external factor, a leader must have some characters called “SEBAR” those are Speak up, Brave, Active and Representative.

This ex-president of argUMent in 2011 also told us that the true of leader is not the one who acknowledge her/hisselves as the leader. However, s/he is the one who acknowledge and regard as the others are the leader. Moreover, he told us to take every chance that given to us or, if we haven’t get that chance, look for it. We also have to treat our mental by taking the risk(s).

All the explanations prove that life has affected with two factors, external and internal. A leader has to be able to face both of the factors. Remember!!! A failure cause by two things!! Wasting lot of times in thinking, without moving and acting as well as possible and afraid to try. So take a decision and opportunities, try to do something new and Be a real Leader!! Keep your spirit argUMenters….^v^
